The Langhe

The surrounding vineyards are part a UNESCO World Heritage Site and lie within one of Italy’s most renowned wine-growing regions. It is a stretch of hills covered by sun kissed rows of vines and green forests. The magnificent colours of nature, whose shades change with the passing of the seasons, offer ever-changing landscapes. It is in these rows where some of the world’s most celebrated wines born: Barolo and Barbaresco. Tenuta Baràc is the perfect starting point for discovering this magical territory, steeped in flavours and tradition. The Tenuta is located in a unique place in the heart of the Barbaresco hills, in the middle of a green valley, where the landscape changes from vineyards to woodlands and lush nature.

The estate is distinguished by a delightful farmhouse dating back to the early 20th century, which underwent a major historical architectural renovation that highlighted the original materials used in construction. Today it offers cosy (cozy, meglio in Eng US) rooms, warm hospitality and high level services in an absolute quiet setting. Located about 250 meters above sea level, Cascina Baràc offers its guests some of the most spectacular views in the region. The view stretching over the
vine-covered hills of the Langhe is particularly magical. Here you can enjoy a truly special experience in a timeless atmosphere, where nature, art, history, elegance and hospitality come together naturally.
